Section 01
Disconnect a social account
Open your Murika profile, find Social accounts, and choose Disconnect. Murika removes the stored provider tokens and stops future synchronization.
You can also remove Murika from Facebook or Instagram under that service’s Apps and Websites settings. Meta then sends Murika a signed deauthorization notice and Murika removes the associated tokens and imported social content.
Section 02
Facebook and Instagram deletion requests
When you request deletion through Facebook or Instagram, Meta sends Murika a cryptographically signed request. Murika verifies it, removes the connected account credentials and imported posts, and returns a confirmation code and status URL to Meta.
Section 03
What Murika deletes
- Facebook or Instagram access and refresh tokens;
- provider account identifiers and synchronization state;
- cached follower information and recent posts imported from that provider; and
- future scheduled synchronization for the disconnected account.
Section 04
Request deletion directly
Email contact@murika.rw from the address associated with your Murika account. Include the social platform and your Murika username. We may request reasonable identity verification before deleting account data.
